LONGi Recognized in S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) 2025

LONGi's inclusion highlights its commitment to environmental, social, and corporate governance.
S&P Global has announced the release of its Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) 2025, featuring LONGi for the third consecutive time due to its exemplary performance in environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) criteria.

The recognition underscores LONGi’s dedication to sustainable development.

The S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), now in its 26th year, is a prominent evaluation tool focused on ESG performance.

The results of the CSA are utilized in over 200 indices published by S&P Dow Jones Indices, serving as a reference for institutional investors who collectively manage assets valued at $35 trillion globally.

This year, from over 1,600 Chinese companies assessed in the 2024 CSA, 164 were selected for the Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) 2025.

In the realm of ESG management, LONGi made significant strides in 2024, achieving several sustainable development goals ahead of schedule.

The company reported a steady increase in the use of green electricity, reaching 47.5% of its total electricity consumption, which contributed to a reduction of approximately 2.55 million tons of carbon emissions.

Additionally, LONGi indicated a 37% decrease in Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions and a 26% decrease in Scope 3 carbon emissions compared to 2023. Furthermore, the company successfully reduced its electricity consumption per production unit, aligning with targets set previously.

LONGi's environmental initiatives included an annual investment of 370 million yuan in environmental protection, with no incidents of environmental violations reported.

All operating bases achieved full compliance with ISO 14001 certification, and five production sites successfully passed clean production audits.

Long-term advancements were recognized at its Jiaxing factory, which received WEF Lighthouse Factory certification alongside a 'zero-carbon factory' designation.

In 2024, LONGi also secured 53 carbon footprint certification certificates for its silicon wafers, modules, and hydrogen energy products across locations including France and South Korea.

These accomplishments reflect LONGi’s commitment to environmental responsibility and establish a new benchmark for the photovoltaic industry’s transition toward green and low-carbon solutions.

The company maintains its vision of 'making the best of solar energy to build a green world,' emphasizing affordable and accessible clean energy for all.

LONGi’s strategic objectives align with the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on the promotion of clean, renewable, and efficient energy utilization while fostering collaborations to ensure that everyone has access to affordable clean energy.
